NCC is committed to preaching the whole counsel of God’s Word, Exalting Jesus Christ in worship, praying as a community of believers, and proclaiming Christ with boldness. As disciples of Jesus Christ we grow in these areas as we actively pursue Jesus. He is the image of the invisible God (Col 1:15), the complete revelation of God’s character and nature (Heb 1:3, Col 1:15, Col 1:19, Col 2:9), and as we behold Him, we are transformed and made more like Him (2 Cor 3:18, Rom 8:28-30).
The next step is for us to get to know you to help you grow in your walk with Christ. Dinner with the pastors is a good place to start. Here you will learn about NCC, our heart for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we will get to know you to help you find the best place to connect and grow. Please contact the church office to set up a lunch or dinner with pastor Jeff, Ed and Ralph.
After you have met our under-shepherds (pastors) it’s time to get involved in a small group. We call them Gospel Communities at the NCC. Gospel Communities are a vital part in your spiritual growth and community life at NCC. Gospel Communities are where you can experience close fellowship, pray for one-another, help each other apply God’s Word, and grow as brothers and sisters in Christ as you minister to one-another with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Once you have connected and started growing at NCC, we want to offer various ways for you to serve. NCC is here to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus. We believe that every devoted Christ follower was born to reproduce their faith in others (make disciples). Our aim is to provide everything necessary for you to keep growing in your walk with Christ and moving toward becoming a fully mature Christian who is pouring their faith into those around them. God has gifted you and given you a passion to serve Him by serving His people.
God loves you with a transforming love, not a stagnate love. Everyone grows through phases in their walk with Christ. NCC is here to do all that we can to support you, but ultimately the next step is yours. Let’s be a community of people always moving, always growing in our faith.
