At Newark Community Church (NCC) we strive to offer a developed and comprehensive plan to come along-side parents and guardians in bringing their children up in the way of the Lord.
We strive to balance solid doctrine (right thinking about God) and relational (right living toward God). In 1 Thessalonians 2:6–8, the Apostle Paul wrote, “7 But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother taking care of her own children. 8 So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.”
The example that Paul in 1 Thessalonians 2:6-8, beautifully illustrates our goal in coming along side parents and guardians in caring for their children. As leaders in the Youth and Student Ministries, we aspire to give the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to patiently and gently share our walk with Christ.
We offer various ministries and opportunities for teaching and fellowship to NCC youth from our AWANA program (3 yrs old – High School Seniors), Youth Worship Nights, Youth Sunday School, and Youth Gospel Communities (small groups).
