Our Children’s Ministry is designed to assist parents in the spiritual training of their children (Eph. 6:4). Through solid Bible curriculum that cumulatively builds the storyline of the Bible, we teach God’s word to the littlest among us, tenderly sowing gospel seeds in their hearts and praying with confident hope that the Lord causes the growth.
Three classes compose our Children’s Ministry: Nursery, 3y-1st grade, and 2nd-6th grade. In each of these classes our hearts echo Asaph’s words in Psalm 78 for the next generation, “that they should set their hope in God.” (Psalm 78:7a)
By providing this gospel rich ministry to parents during the sermon hour, our Children’s Ministry allows parents to worship God freely without worrying about their kids. All Children’s Ministry volunteers are screened through a Volunteer Application and background check.
Children worship along with their parents up through the singing portion of the 10:30am service and then are dismissed for class check-in at announcement time. Parents return to the main service for the sermon and closing song and pick-up their kids after the conclusion of the service.
